This initiative seeks proposals to form a new collaborative consortium, the Gram-Negative Antibiotic Discovery Innovator (Gr-ADI), dedicated to combating antimicrobial resistance. The focus is on the early-stage discovery of direct-acting small molecule antibiotics for Gram-negative pathogens, specifically targeting Enterobacteriaceae with an initial emphasis on Klebsiella spp. Successful applicants will work collectively to find new chemical starting points for future drugs.
